HERE Tracking
Real-time IoT tracking for international logistics
The requirement was to build a massively scalable IoT platform to ingest real-time location and sensor data to act as a foundation for international delivery services and asset management logistics.
The project encompassed backend and frontend development as well as low-level IoT device firmware.

Solution
I created the initial versions of each system, application and interface to ensure the concept worked end-to-end. Over the course of 3 years, I moved to leading architecture for the group to ensure the technical roadmap aligned with the market needs.
The project was API-first to ensure compatibility across internal applications (VueJS web application, iOS app) as well as seamless integration with existing logistics system. The system worked alongside the proprietary HERE positioning service.
After the initial development, I worked in Japan for 2 months leading a series of sales training workshops for the APAC region.
